Hersheypark® is cashless and accepts all major credit cards, debit cards and Hersheypark gift cards, as well as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay. For guests who may not have credit or debit cards, they can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at the Cash-to-Card kiosks stationed around the park. There is no fee to load cash onto a card at these kiosks. Please check the app for locations. For games, you will need to purchase a separate Gaming Card at gaming locations, which you can load via cashless payment. *Vanilla VISA gift cards are not accepted at Hersheypark at this time due to issues with the Vanilla Gift Card platform. Please note The Chocolatier, Ticketing Services and Parking still accept cash. In place of cash, consider purchasing an e-gift card before your Park visit. Hershey Entertainment and Resorts (HE&R) gift cards can be used IN PERSON ONLY and cannot be used for ONLINE purchases.
No, there are no fees to convert cash to a prepaid card at a Cash-to-Card kiosk inside Hersheypark. There are also no fees to use the prepaid card inside or outside of Hersheypark. *After 92 consecutive days of no transaction activity, a $3.95 fee will be charged each month.
A guest will insert cash into a Cash-to-Card kiosk. It will dispense a plastic prepaid Visa Debit Card that can be used within Hersheypark. Up to $500 can be loaded onto a single card and cards cannot be reloaded or refunded. Cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
Hersheypark Christmas Candylane® is a seasonal event at Hersheypark included with a Hersheypark ticket that features select rides and seven coasters (weather and maintenance permitting), 5 million lights with a light show timed to music, Santa and all nine of his reindeer, Holly Jolly Sweet Greets with the Hershey Characters and more. Hersheypark Christmas Candylane is open on select dates from Nov. 15, 2024, through Jan. 1, 2025. Daily operations begin Dec. 12. (closed Christmas Day). Hours vary by day.

Preview Plan is offered during Hersheypark Christmas Candylane! Ticketed guests can present their ticket at the main entrance 1.5 hours before closing the night before their visit (note operating hours) and enjoy a fun-filled evening. Resorts Preview is 2.5 hours before closing. Please note that Sweet Start is not available for seasonal events like Hersheypark Christmas Candylane.

New this year, guests can get their photo with Santa through Dec. 24, enjoy an interactive experience with his elves and see all nine of his live reindeer at a new home in at the Mary N. Bright Airfield in Fahrenheit Catering. Santa is available during all hours of operation from Nov. 15 through Dec. 24 with breaks noted on signage, and his reindeer are here from Nov. 15 through Jan. 1, 2025.
You would have to purchase a Season Pass+, which is a Full Size Pass that includes unlimited visits to Hersheypark Christmas Candylane in 2024 and all public operating days in 2025 with the benefits of your choice of a Full, King or Giant Size Pass.
